RenovationsWhat a busy year it has been at the Hall with two major renovations going ahead. We would like to thank both Primrose Solar and Suez (Sita) who have funded our new washrooms and a complete repipe of our central heating system.
The year started badly with a major underground leak in our heating pipes which showed over 40 years of corrosion. This leak was repaired but we realised that it was only a matter of time before other major leaks occurred. We were lucky to receive the funding from Suez and employed Scion Heating to install a complete pipework system, above ground this time! Hopefully this should last us many years and be easier to access if any pipes should leak.
Our toilets have been deteriorating for a few years, so we were particularly pleased to receive funding for a complete refurbishment of both washrooms. Both were completely stripped out and new flooring, toilets, cubicles, washbasins, mirrors and hand dryers were installed. The walls were redecorated and we are now awaiting the installation of new double glazed skylights. Photographs will be on this website as soon as this work is completed.
We have plans for other renovations so your support with fund raising events is really appreciated.
